Put on your theater critics hat for a minute.
What are your thoughts on the play we watched on Saturday, November 1?
Did the actor of Paul and Saul accurately depict the great transformation of Paul’s conversion? What discrepancies did you notice between the play and the book of Acts? Were you moved by story? If so, how?

They looked to Peter as the Rock and he is only a stone Christ is our Rock
They baptized Saul with a little water should have been immersion
They showed the reaction of Ananias as God had a duty for him to do and his human reaction. then said he would go and do as God bade him. then when he realized it was Saul of Tarsus it showed well his reaction to do as God commanded him and he did as God would have him to do and he was carefull as he met Saul
I agree, Sis. Linda.
I noticed Peter proclaim that he was “the rock” Christ mentioned in Matthew 16:18. The writers of the play seemed to intertwine their personal interpretation into the play but that is expected when there is false teaching or incomplete, inaccurate teaching.
I really enjoyed the actor’s portrayal of Ananias, that was spot-on to the human reaction.
What stood out to me the most was the whistling wind the Holy Spirit made when the disciples were unsure about a situation. The Holy Spirit appeared within them and they felt it! Then they knew exactly what to do after obeying the Spirit.
I think the force of the Holy Spirit was strong enough to literally knock the 120 off their feet. The force was described as a “mighty, rushing wind”. It was a sound from heaven and it filled the room they were in. Imagine that! A gale force wind that they felt but didn’t destroy the house they were in. Incredible!
